tonight was the night heâd been waiting for. he had a date tonight but tonight just wasnât any date it was the date. the date he wasnât sure he was going to get. sabrina hadnât been like any other girl heâd met and he really didnât think that she was going to give into her charm but obviously, he was wrong. luckily for him, sheâd agreed to one date and the smile on his face when sheâd agreed was wider than he had ever smiled before. he knew he probably looked like an idiot too, grinning from ear to ear, but that had been the last thing on his mind in that moment. travis couldnât even remember the last time heâd been on a date and he changed more times than heâd probably admit but that wasnât what was important. what was important was the fact that he was so excited to go on that date with the curled hair journalist that caught his eyes just days before. heâd eventually decided on a clean plaid shirt, which he didnât have a lot of, his cowboy hat, jeans that fit just right, and his cowboy boots. he hoped he wasnât too underdressed, especially since he was set on impressing her. the picnic basket heâd packed for them sat in the bed of his truck along with a couple of blankets and the flowers heâd picked out were set in the passenger seat. he grabbed them once he made it to her place and took in a deep breath, âyou can do this.â he breathed out, giving himself a small pep talk as he jumped out of his truck and walked up to her front door. he took one last deep breath as he rang her doorbell and when the door swung open, a grin took over his face. âwow, youâre beautiful.âÂ
