Drabble List
Sleep: It is raining and Faith doesn’t have a cabin in the camp yet and Bobby offers to let her crash on his floor.
“Looks like this ain’t gonna let up any time soon,” Bobby said, turning from where he’d been sitting on the porch and staring glumly at the rain. This kind of weather usually left him housebound. “You got somewhere to get your head down yet?”
“Nah. I’ll be fine. I’ve slept rougher.” Even the prospect of sleeping out on a rainy night didn’t seem to dampen Faith’s sparkle. He kind of admired that, even though it pissed him off as well - whatever she’d had to go through to get used to that kind of life was nothing a young woman should have to endure.
He shook his head. “C’mon in. I got an old campin’ mattress rolled up under the bed, you’re welcome to borrow that an’ the floor.”
