#thread requests

I’m thinking Yahweh gets tired of Lucifers bitching and moaning about everything he does and so he swaps body’s and powers with his son and is like “fine, you do it you run the universe for X amount of time at witch point they automatically switch back.

Try putting up your own thread or spree request and wait for people to ask you for threads – though don’t get discouraged if there are few replies at first. Joining or starting AW threads in your pack and neutral territories can help, too. If you don’t have a chat login, get one and hang out in chat; it might be easier to bring up your thread ideas in an informal environment. No one can know that you’re looking for threads if you don’t say you are! :)Ultimately, though, the best course of action is to just ask! The worst that can happen is that someone says they’re too busy. :) We’re sure there are others who feel the same way as you; they even might be too shy to ask you for threads. ;)

Or asks. Or something. Anything. I am REALLY frustrated right now and playing as QB has usually helped that frustration a tiny bit.))

Also try checking out other peoples’ thread requests; if you answer their requests, then they’ll most likely agree to have a thread with you! Don’t be afraid to approach others for plots and threads, either. Perhaps there’s someone who feels similarly to you, but is too shy to reach out.  :)Here are some more tips about getting threads. You’re entitled to feel however you might feel, though we wouldn’t take a lack of welcome too personally. There could be many explanations for why – honest forgetfulness, being distracted, thinking they did when they didn’t, etc. It’s usually better to give people the benefit of the doubt in these situations, instead of quickly assuming it was done maliciously. That said, if you really think it’s something more, we recommend discussing it with your leader(s) directly.If your character is hurting for interaction, reach out to others! Roleplaying is a two-way street, and you can’t always wait for others to make the first move. Here are some tips for getting more threads. Good luck!

It’s possible to publicly and politely decline both general and specific proposals – e.g. “I’m not interested in that kind of thread right now” or “I’m not really interested in a thread between Wolf and Dog right now; thanks though!” or “I don’t think Wolf could handle a thread with Dog right now” etc.If you’re not interested in threading with a specific player, regardless of their character or plot proposal, you should let them know privately – but politeness is still key! Saying you’re not interested in something is never rude in and of itself, but take care not to make things too personal or disrespectful. :>

Aww, we’re really sorry to hear you’ve been having trouble with threads! :( It’s a catch-22, but most players become “known,” “important,” and “established” by simply roleplaying, and it’s often a matter of persistence and patience to get those threads finished. It may be hard to obtain and maintain initial interest, but it’s important not to lose hope!Some players are okay with polite reminders to reply, but some aren’t – you can always double check at the start of the thread as to their preference. Regardless though, if it’s been a while since your partners have replied to your threads, don’t be afraid to ask about an OOC ending – at least then you know what happened, even if you don’t end up roleplaying it all out.You may also try considering a few things with your plots and threads: 1) are your plots too long-term? maybe something shorter or simpler would garner a better response? 2) are your posts interesting and easy to reply to? is there enough information for your partners to reply to? are they too wordy? 3) are you paying attention to your partners’ posts or suggestions? are you missing dropped hints on the direction they might want to take or forgetting something they wanted to do?There might not be anything wrong with your plots or your writing, but it doesn’t hurt to think about those things. It may just be a matter of perseverance though. We hope things improve for you soon! Don’t give up!
