#thread repair

NES Thread Repair is a 3 piece external thread repair kit made by NES thread repair. This set has the external capacity of 5/32" to 6".  This set of internal and  external tools will restore inch or metric, right handed or left handed fastener threads. The floating cutters included in this set are self-adjusting to any pitch and size within range. With these tools there is no need for calibration or identifying thread types, and the set automatically chases good thread sections to repair the damaged parts.  This set is supplied in a blow-molded case for easy storage.

TIME-SERT Is a sophisticated thread repair system that is considered by many to be superior to any other method of repairing stripped or damaged threads. TIME-SERT is a solid bushing insert. This facilitates easy installation and allows for full torque to be applied to repaired threads, ensuring a strong, permanent repair. TIME-SERT is thin walled due to synchronized internal / external threads. Small outer diameter allows for installation in areas where clearance is critical. TIME-SERT is self-positioning. The flange on the top of the insert will insure that the insert cannot wind down into the newly repaired hole. TIME-SERT is self locking. M4 X 0.7 X 8.0mm Time-Sert Insert Part # 14073 On installation the bottom internal threads of the insert expand to lock the insert in place.
