I've decided it's probably best to put Thread Fetcher on the back burner for now. Can't really come up with anything to write for it, I've it a wall, to put it simply. 

I've had another idea (based on a trippy dream, as usual) that I'm having fun writing at the moment, so I think I'll just play about with that instead for now. The project's working title is: Serf and Resistance. Sounds cool, right? It's a bit ridiculous and the narrator is a whiny brat and the other main character is an asshat. Woo characters I hate already! But last time I wrote a character I hated, everyone seemed to freaking love her *cough cough* maggie *cough*

this book is awkward.

so on nanowrimo they give you daily objectives. i've decided i'll be sticking to these objectives and not pushing much further than that. e.g. today's objective was 5,000. i wrote 5,042.

i'm not all that bothered.

i'm just super tired lately.

you have way too much fun writing out brutal murders

you write out brutal murders with incredible ease

you start relating to your serial killer protagonist

words written. oh my. i'm behind already, aren't i?

can't help that i'm so sleepy, that's what really drags me back.

but at least i'm writing something, right?

Now that Ondoden is sort of out of the way, I shall begin my journey in Thread Fetcher!

Later I'll do some editing for Ondoden, I guess...ugh.

I don't have as much confidence in Thread Fetcher, to be honest, though. However, I think I can do it. I might make it more comedic than I had originally intended. Mainly because I need a break from flat-out disturbing and depressing writing. I mean really. Ondoden was draining to write.

Because I love superheros, I think I might write something about either someone with powers or someone who lives their life believing in heros. Both will be tangled messes of disillusionment, isolation, and self-discovery. Of course.

Not sure if I want to write a short story or more. 

And the working title is 'I am a Hero'. In case the heading of this post wasn't clear.

I'm rather excited to finish up Ondoden and move on to another project (also inspired by nightmares). This project is The Thread Fetcher. Here is some info straight from my notes!

Earnest's PA. She collects his groceries, buys craft supplies for him, reminds him of appointments and engagements. Has a nephew.

Grey Eyed Athena

Earnest's "conscience;" an imaginary friend he never grew out of. Sometimes he sees her, other times it's just her voice. 

Her advice is often neutral but sometimes very questionable. Her appearance is constantly changing, but her eyes stay the same (sometimes she's naked)
