My sun, moon, and stars.

My knight in shining armor.

My king. My husband.

You are the light of my life, my one, my only.

For you I would go to the ends of the earth and back again to keep you safe from any and all harm. I have never loved so deeply and could not imagine setting my eyes on anyone else. You are my safety and my rock. I know I am difficult at times, but I also know that you love me more than anything. You do the sweetest things that are unexpected, I love that.  I could not ask for more as I have everything already. I am attempting to put what I feel for you in words, yet it proves difficult. It is beyond any language spoken by men or elves. Mela en' coiamin, I will stand by your side for the test of time. You have my heart and soul.

Sometimes Fili wonders if his dislike for elves is something he's learnt -- like metalwork or how to fight. He hasn't met a lot of elves, for one thing, and sometimes he wonders why exactly he's supposed to dislike them.

         Right now, though, he thinks he doesn't          like elves because they're just too tall.
