Who knows how long that escape pod was floating in space. The plan was for her to land on the closest planet but that never happened. She kept floating and floating. Months went by, then years, then finally she was pulled by a planet. 

A loud explosion went off as the escape pod crashed into the ground. It made the glass crack, filling the pod with clean air waking the pink cat up. She was so groggy and confused. There was smoke everywhere from the ship. She tried to rub her eyes a bit, then pushed open the hatch, hopping out of the ship. Her legs wobbled from lack of use. Mao looked around the trees around her. She’s never seen such things in person before. But that didn’t help her confusion at all. She leaned back over into the ship to see if the computer could tell her where she was, but the whole control panel seemed busted from the crash,
