It looks like I am going to see E.T! ;-) ha... Holy Haz Mat! I had to go through a 1.5 hour process of training, mask fitting (and testing with a nasty smoke that makes you cough), checklists, sign offs, gloves, and TWO haz mat suits (Second one to cover my boots since first did not). I had to do all this to cross a contentious area that took max 90 seconds to cross. Then I had four photos to take on an outer balcony that took 3 minutes, then 90 seconds crossing back. So much fuss, but I am grateful they were so accommodating to let me do all this to get to this space. Fascinating process. You will see in the photo too that I had to have my binder of info and the camera inside of the suit and could not remove it again until we passed the area. Both suits sadly are trashed after and considered hazardous material so this all is a very costly undertaking. Possible Asbestos exposure was the risk here.⠀ ⠀ Well I got my photos (not glamorous, but important) and again am grateful for everyone being so very helpful. It would have been even more better had I seen E.T! ⠀ ⠀ #safety #hazmat #industrialsafety #thourough #williamjans https://www.instagram.com/p/B6Q1gQlBFbl/?igshid=1ch52mul6qhet
