Three days ago, on April 6th, my beautiful wife, Nykole, gave birth to our new baby boy, Gryffin (Finn). Our new life as parents has just begun!!! I looooove you Gryffin!

“When I was little, and still today, my favorite hero was Link. I always wanted to feel like he and I understood each other. People would say that he was a blank slate, a voiceless, motiveless body for everyone to project themselves onto, but he never seemed that way to me. He always seemed, relate-able. He wanted adventure, but never went on any, and was left dreaming and scratching pictures of himself fighting monsters into his tree. He was shy, and not so talkative. He didn’t have many friends in his home village, where people thought they had seen all there was to see about him. When called to action, he did not second guess it but jumped at the chance to prove to himself what he knew he could do, and what the world needed him to do. He fell in love after only knowing a girl for 5 minutes, and would even go so far as to fight through dungeons, monsters, and time itself to save her. He wasn’t in it for the profit, he was in it because it felt right, and that was enough for him. Nintendo tried to write a voiceless character, but the one they made speaks louder to me than any other character I know.”
