What if this is a flashback?

What if there won't be a new darkworld next chapter?

Super unlikely, but

What if the theory of bringing a darkner into.the lightworld through the pure crystal is correct,

My bet is that Kris might even arrive on time and the first thing we see is Susie and Noelle flirting in the hallway

Like Susie is kind of the only good thing in Noelle's life, especially now, and Susie wants to do everything for Noelle currently, but

This could actually be the perfect opportunity of addressing Noelle and Susie having false impressions about each other still, at least in a way.

I think I said this somewhere before, but what if, because Noelle really needs Susie to be this idealized version of herself in order to keep her mental stability afloat in some way, that also puts a lot of pressure under Susie, who wants to protect not just Noelle, but all of her friends from the horrors and from harm. "we're not gonna let that happen" while smiling brightly.

And what if then they get separated?

Idunno, I especially want to see Susie getting overwhelmed over everything that's been going wrong, and now she couldn't even protect her girlfriend. (This also opens up the potential closure for Ralsusie's growth exchange again, hehe)

Meanwhile, with Noelle, this doesn't really match this idea all too well, but I think you can even combine this with an idea I had, that I'm not sure I talked about here yet, namely that Susie is kind of inviting Noelle into an escapist fantasy by bringing her into the dark world. Not in a sense that "dark worlds aren't real" but by staying in the darkworld permanently, she is to some degree avoiding the things that have been going wrong in the light world, and now something terrible happened in the light world to Noelle, to which she was just given an escape from. Now what it this escape is something Noelle does not need right now. What if what she actually needs is for someone (maybe even Kris, because they are her closest connection to her past family right now) to be there with her in the here and now, and acknowledge that what just happened sucks, but at least that person is also here with Noelle in reality, and is able to comfort here.

But Susie is only able to currently offer her escapism, either because she isn't that involved in Noelle's situation, and doesn't really know how to handle it, and/or this is too awful for her too right now.

So a sepperation from Susie could also help Noelle get her mind back into "reality" and into her being able to grief properly.
