Some may find it stupid of me, but honestly, I haven't expected warhammer being so tragic in a. How to say it. Non-epic way?
Like all these jokes about space marines, chaosites and "there's only war" narrative you hear from outside the fandom made you think that warhammer is about endless, mindless battles and talks about honor only when in reality it's way more deep than that. It has place for small stories about traumas and healing, for a little laugh and even peace, and, of course, for love and hope. Sometimes it really does make me cry real tears, and this is not what I expected from "peak male fantasy" (quoting the internet here).
Don't know where was I going with this. I just like the "there is hope" message and am very happy to found it where I was not expecting it to be found.
