If anything, you should have asked your mother about what material her clothes were made out of, because if they were mixed materials, she’s kind of in the same water.
I was going to, but I didn't want to get into an all out debate with the woman. She's true to her beliefs, no matter how absurd they are, though she refuses to understand that my sister and I hold slightly different ones. It's been a source of tension in the family for a long time, especially when she tries to guilt trip us and force us into believing things we don't agree with. It's not like we disagree with everything we've been taught; we both have strong foundations when it comes to ethics and morals, but as the world changes and we both learn more about the people and occurrences in it, we're bound to change as well, aren't we? She just can't understand that.Â
