Life would be so boring if we were all the same! I hope you are falling in love with your "different." Please scroll to see additional pictures I found (the deeper archives are in my parents' house 😸). As a kid, my mom constantly smothered me with wet kisses (soo embarrassing lol) and called me names like "princess" and "pretty." I always thought she was #DoingTheMost...and she was actually. (lol) But I'm uber grateful because it consequentially molded my self esteem. I remember when a friend invited me to my first Ladies Bible Study. We started by reading Proverbs 31, about "The Virtuous Woman." The second to last verse in the chapter says "charm is deceptive and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised." Next, the floor was opened up for comments on the chapter, and everyone began discussing the struggle of looking in the mirror and comparison to other females....and I was so lost! I'm like, 'did I miss something in the passage? Are they all in on something I don't know about?' This was my first exposure to other people's views on body image. I had dozens of insecurities growing up, but body image wasn't one of them. I'm thankful because of what my mom installed in me and recognizing the weight of words, I want to install the same into young ladies and my future children. #ThoseTeethThough #SpeakLife #SisVicModeling Picture from @ITCosmetics https://www.instagram.com/p/CDnAErugEp1/?igshid=xecjhlgtux4h
