It felt wrong for Momo to behold women. She glanced at Akiko and away when her ears felt hot.
"You look fine," she said. Her voice was a traitor. Crackling and fried. God, she's a mess.

Akiko walked around Karakura's streets with a map in her hand, her head snapping at every street in the hopes of trying to understand where in the hell she was. Her frustration was growing with every minute.
When all the women at SWA recommended her this town for her yearly break, Akiko had hoped it would be small enough to avoid getting lost in. It seemed like a nice small little spot, but too small to be boring. There were malls, carnivals and movie theaters along with quiet parks and well managed cheap hotel. Even Akiko's terrible sense with direction couldn't be bad enough to get lost on her very first day, right?
Oh, what a fool she was at this very moment.
Thankfully, at the next bus stop was a polite looking human girl. She had her short hair in a ponytail, and judging by her school uniform, she was between the ages of twelve and fifteen. If she is a minor, then according to the latest rules of the world of the living she isn't allowed to have her own driving license, which means she has to use the buses to get around here. Which also means she has most of the bus lines memorized by now.
Akiko is saved!
She approach the young girl loudly with her clicking boots in the hopes of not spooking the girl by accident. "Excuse me, but do you mind telling me where I am? I came here for a vacation but I'm terrible with directions and got lost in the first ten minutes." /thorneheiress

Great, a tourist. Had it been any other day, Karin would have gladly pointed them in the right direction. But it just so happens she missed her bus by a few minutes and so she’d been sitting at the stop for forty minutes waiting for the next to appear. A part of her hopes there’d just been a delay, but the other, more cynical side thinks the previous bus was the last one. Maybe she should have tagged along with her teammates after the scrimmage. And just when she told Yuzu she’d make it home for dinner. Making her worry never sat well with her.
“Came here for vacation? Deliberately?” Again, another odd look. But people were odd, so she couldn’t judge that hard. “You’re in Karakura, specifically speaking, Yumisawa. Where is it you want to go?”

~*~ Green eyes flicked up and she tilted her head to the side, thinking. The captain of the Yonbantai always seemed to have an air about her that gave Kaisa a mixture of feelings. She was in awe of the woman, respected her, but there was something in those emotions that was akin to wariness. She could tell with the kindly woman's countenance that Unohana-taichou should not be crossed. Even with the young soul's penchant for being a terrible patient she knew better than to anger the captain. It was instinctual. Kaisa couldn't explain it, but her gut warned her to be on her best behavior around Unohana.
"Unohana-taicho is a force to be reckoned with. She’s gentle, but there's something beneath that gentleness that honestly scares me. I would prefer to stay on her good side while she treats me... though if she's not the one treating me I'm much more likely to sneak out before I'm given the okay. I'm sure she knows, but please don't tell her. I just can't stay stationary for long," she scratched the back of her head, "I respect her a ton."
Kaisa gave a soft smile, eyes warm as the grass is on a summer day. She truly did respect and like Unohana Retsu.
Akiko entered Momo's office with a huff and a stack of paperwork under her right arm. The poor girl looked as if she was ready to strangle a man with her bares hands, which wasn't far off from what she was actually feeling. If Akiko wasn't on such a tight schedule, she would have picked a fight with an 11th division officer on the way here.
Putting that plan on hold as a last resort, Akiko focused on the matter at hand and pulled out a bag of peach cookies from her pocket, aka her peace offering. Akiko wasn't sure if it was needed, but it's always better to be safe than sorry
"Someo- something is making my captain more insufferable than usual so working in the 3th is nearly impossible. Mind if I stay here and finish my assignment here with you?"
Momo knows murder like the back of her hand. Being so angry that you can feel it roll off. Sousuke was good at that.
Akiko doesn't scare Momo like Sousuke scares her, though.
It's rude to decline gifts, even if it makes Momo feel bad receiving any iota of kindness. As she nibbles, she pulls her workload off half of her desk and motions that Akiko is welcome to commandeer the empty space.
"I know the feeling," she says, smiling politely. "Take as much time as you need."
Jesus fuck, man, I said that as a joke. Just how bad is this shitty situation for you to take it that seriously? /thorneheiress.
Oh --- It had just been a joke? Well, MAYBE she should learn to read the fucking room instead of randomly joking with someone she didn't even know? He was about to say just that, but instead he got hung up on her saying ' this shitty situation '. As if she too found this whole scene BAD. She shouldn't, since she was getting to be the main photographer for the rest of the shoot, which was a good career opportunity for her. So why did SHE think things were bad? Nnoitra thought they were bad because he didn't want to be here. He wanted to go home already. ❝ Yeah? A fuckin' shitty joke then. ❞ Nnoitra replied, not AS aggressively as earlier. / @thorneheiress .

~*~ Kaisa rolled her eyes and reached her hand out to her friend, “it’s fine, I got it. You help me out a bit, let me return the kindness.”
She tried to give Akiko a gentle smile for her to be at ease, or more at ease.
So because this shoot was short staffed last minute, I am one of the assistant photographer for this cover page. Can you be civil or do I have to get my water spray? /thorneheiress. Joining in on the model au cause it looks fun
Things had gotten hectic last-minute. The original photographer had to run off because of a personal matter. Nnoitra didn't care enough to catch what it was about. He had HOPED that the photographer leaving meant he too could leave, but no. Apparently, they wanted to get some more shots in different lighting, before they called it a day. This shoot was kind of a big deal, since it was for a cover of a major magazine. Nnoitra had mixed feelings. On one hand, he didn't want some shitty picture of him on a cover, on the other hand - he had had enough of this photoshoot. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad, if the assistant photographer didn't turn out to be a total bitch. She spoke to him really rudely. Nnoitra knew his attitude throughout the shoot had sucked, but still - who the fuck did she think she was?
❝ Ya kiddin' me? Ya don't get 'ta talk 'ta me like that. If ya got a fuckin' problem with me, then I guess ya ain't gettin' 'ta shoot me. ❞ He crossed his arms over his chest. / @thorneheiress .
"Here. Some black liquorice. You're lucky this is the only thing I hate more than you." /thorneheiress
❝ Oh, sweet! ❞ Black liquorice was not his favorite, but? Food was food? So? Not that bad. He completely ignored the ' I hate it more than you '-part. He didn't give a shit whether or not this woman ( who he had no idea who was? ) hated him or not. The important thing here was that he was getting free shit! He chewed on the liquorice, trying to make it taste better than it did. It should be sweeter! He looked at the woman, tipping his head to the side. ❝ 'Daz it? ❞ Was he hoping for more? Something better? Yup. / @thorneheiress .
