Homing (Modification)
A Modification which makes a Projectile Technique pursue its target.
Modification
Requirement: [Delivery: Projectile]
A homing Technique makes evasion seem like a useless form of defense against it. Targets that perform a successful Evasion check do avoid the Technique temporarily, but afterwards, are still pursued by it. When launched, the projectile moves in a straight line towards its target, if Evaded, remaining on the square behind them until the user's next turn, in which it will correct its course and move again towards its target in a straight line (this is all considered one motion, without stopping in real time). As long as the projectile remains in effect, it is represented on the board with its own miniature.
Because of how it travels (in a straight line), the Technique can be avoided by the target if they hide behind an obstacle during their turn, if someone comes between them to Guard or Deflect it, or  if its intercepted by another Technique.
A homing projectile does first require the target to be within the Technique's effective range to be performed, but afterwards may continue past its range in pursuit of its target. The homing capability of the Attack cannot be dismissed by its user after being performed. For the purposes of turn order, the attack performs its Movement before the user (which means that the user could, in theory, be hit by their own Technique if the target positioned themselves for it to occur).
A homing Technique ignores the penalties of Blinded.
