While we're talking about futures, it's dawning on me that with the extremely distant choice of destiny for the Theologian (so distant it's unclear if it will ever happen, the Tower) it's very unclear what their future will look like. You know, the part of it that takes place before we pull the curtains on the universe.

Does he live to see the sixth city? He was alloted Time, and surely he would make preparations. The seventh? That is less certain. Does he leave the Neath perhaps, to further the work of the Liberation? Or to learn "more" of what else never was erased in the name of the Chain? Of does he stay to attend to the politics and preservation of the Neath's people?

Or does he just commit enough outrageous heresy for the Anglican Church to actually come up with rules for excommunication.
