You shouldn't imagine the Fourth Doctor/Tom Baker offering a jelly baby but he feeds it directly to you. Makes you suck on his fingers slobber all over his big, firm hands while he whispers "aww how adorable, delightfully pathetic" in your ear grinding his hardening bulge against you through the fabric of his pants. With every movement his breath comes in faster gasps. His deep voice dropping even more octaves than it already was until it's a desperate growl of half audible curses. Don't do that it's weird

Queen starts recording ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ at Rockfield studio’s in Galles.
🔸THE DAY QUEEN BEGAN RECORDING THEIR MASTERPIECE, ‘BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY’
- Ultimate Classic Rock, August 24, 2015
by Eduardo Rivadavia
If you were to write a history of the recording studio and, specifically, its usefulness as a laboratory for musicians' most ambitious creations, then an entire chapter might well be devoted to "Bohemian Rhapsody." The members of Queen began recording the song on Aug. 24, 1975, redefining the known limits of popular music in the process.
Suffice to say that, whatever Chuck Berry had in mind when he asked Beethoven to roll over, "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s jaw-dropping pastiche of rock and opera sure wasn't it. But then, Queen's flamboyant and unpredictable brand of art rock had been simultaneously stumping and amazing all those who'd heard it well before "Bohemian Rhapsody" came along. It continually morphed over the first three albums of the group's career, until 1974's Sheer Heart Attack started connecting all the dots.
During the first months of 1975, Queen toured the U.S. as headliners for the first time (alternately supported by Styx and Kansas), making their first trip to Japan (where they received a Beatlemania-type reception), and, in singer Freddie Mercury's case, receiving the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for his work on "Killer Queen."
All of these accomplishments no doubt boosted the band's confidence (and courage) as they started working on new material, both in unison and individually, for the album they would soon name A Night at the Opera. This was to be produced by their engineer Roy Thomas Baker, and it's safe to say neither band nor producer could have guessed what Mercury had up his sleeve as he started cobbling together both new ideas and spare song parts he'd been lugging around for years in the privacy of his Kensington apartment.
According to Baker, in an interview with Sound on Sound, his first inkling of what was in store only came when he visited Queen's singer at his home, and Mercury first played him "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s initial ballad section, concluding it by casually quipping, "And this is where the opera section comes in!" Mercury, Taylor and the other members of Queen -- guitarist Brian May, bassist John Deacon and drummer Roger Taylor -- then entered the studio following three weeks of rehearsal to help bring Freddie's madcap magnum opus to life.
Together, the foursome and their studio hands spent as much time arranging, re-arranging, adding, subtracting, and adding some more to "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s bulk as most bands of the time spent on entire albums. In the end, Mercury's central ballad wound up preceded by one of Queen's patented, multi-tracked a capella choirs and was followed by a tasteful solo from May, a minute-long opera section, then a heavy metal instrumental passage and finally a reprise of the core melody, fading gently back into wherever it came from.
All these years later, it's the song's operatic climax that remains its most stunning, almost superhuman, accomplishment, as it required them to clock as 10-to-12 hour days over a three-week period. They reportedly needed nearly 200 vocal overdubs in order to flesh out an entire choir. And then, when they were finally done, their label EMI was, to put it mildly, quite unimpressed.
Although, to be fair, the suits' reasons were typically business-oriented, as "Bohemian Rhapsody's" edged close to the six-minute mark, well beyond the limit favored by commercial radio. Instead, the label suggested they release Deacon's excellent "You're My Best Friend" as first single from A Night at the Opera, but Queen wouldn't hear of it, and it only took a moment for the immediate support of DJs across Britain to prove EMI wrong.
Released in the U.K. on Oct. 31, 1975, "Bohemian Rhapsody" would be No. 1 by Christmas and then hold the spot for nine weeks. Its commercial fortunes were undoubtedly helped by the pioneering music video shot by Queen to stand in for them on Top of the Pops while they were already back on tour by the time they were invited to appear. Meanwhile, their single was also on its way to No. 1 in Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands and Belgium, earning Top 10 honors in multiple other countries and peaking at No. 9 in America, where it eventually became a million-seller.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" stands as one of the best-selling songs in rock history, prone to repeat visits to global charts anytime it is revived for a movie, commercial or other event, and frankly unique as nothing since has come close to matching its sheer heights of excess, bravura, and, oh yeah, inspiration.
While only a pilot for relatively short time, Baker had 12 victories within the four months in the Australian Flying Corps. Originally, he applied to become a mechanic,, but was chosen for flight training instead. Although he died in combat in 1918, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1919.

Stan Dallas:
Whoever decided to not accept him at the Australian flying corps, I want to talk. Luckily, he did get into the RNAS, scoring not just a lot of victories (although the exact number is still debated) but also being chosen to test fly the Sopwith Triplane. His grave is marked with an S.E.5 propeller, which is honestly the most badass gravestone ever.

Ensign [Thomas] Baker x reader
[a/n: Thomas Keegan is 6’6 I’m like 👀i’m 5′5👀 also this is a continuation of my hc that Baker’s s/o likes to boop his nose :D I hope u enjoy!]
It started as a joke, it ended (not really) with you being tickled to tears on the floor.
“Thomas?”
You’d just gotten off class, glad to be finally complete with your annoyingly busy schedule for the week.
Thomas’ class had ended while yours was still halfway through, so you knew he had to be around somewhere. The apartment was small, so there wasn’t many places he could be, unless he ran out for a bit.
“y/n, in the kitchen!”
He calls, and you do a 180 from your current position searching in the living room.
“All done with class?”
It was ten at night, (I have a class that ends at 10:15 p.m. ffffffs) and Thomas was making brownies.
“Yeah! How was yours?”
“As good as Chemistry can go,”
He’s got on your cute pumpkin apron, but appears to have barely made any mess to need one. You hum in agreement as you shuffle over to the fridge, pulling the door open to take out a ginger ale.
“What’s the occasion? Not that I mind at all!”
You ask, gesturing to the pan he was currently putting in the oven. When he stands back up, he wipes his hands on the apron and gives you a smile.
“Oh, I don’t know. I got kinda bored.”
He admits sheepishly, setting a timer on his phone for when the brownies would be done baking.
“We both were having a rough week. Thought these might help.”
“Might? I think they most certainly will!”
Tugging at his hand to get his attention, you give him a bright smile.
“It was a long week. This was a really, really nice surprise.”
Thomas smiles back down at you, turning for just the briefest moment to put the mixing bowl in the sink. When he returns to offer his full attention, you’ve latched yourself to his side and give him a squeeze of affection.
“Thank you, Thomas.”
“Anytime, really.”
Exchanging goofy smiles, you raise yourself to the balls of your feet and tug an arm free.
“Boop.”
Poking at his nose, he takes his chance and swoops down, capturing a kiss right on your lips. He’d definitely been eating the batter.
Pulling away, Thomas stands back to his full height and grins down at you.
“Let me clean up, and then we can hang out?”
Dropping your heels back to the floor, you nod enthusiastically.
“Yes, please! I’ll help clean,”
You offer, moving so you could put the excess baking sheets away.
“y/n, you don’t have to-“
“I want to.”
Insisting, you pull open the bottom cabinet to push the trays inside.
Once the kitchen was a bit cleaner than it had been, the two of you stand side by side against the counter.
“C’mere.”
Happily obliging, you accept the warm invitation for a hug.
Raising to the balls of your feet once more, you boop his nose as he looks down at you.
“Gotcha.”
You stick your tongue out, and whatever funny bone you tickled got Thomas going.
He begins to make a move for your ribs, running his hands along your sides that send you into a fit of laughter.
“Stop!”
Crying mercy, you finally collapse onto the floor with tears in your eyes and breath hitched.
“I will never stop booping your nose,”
Beaming with bliss, you both get a good laugh out of the nights events.
This is old, but now it's here? I'll probably make a v2 that isn't so terrible some other time. Take out the dog murder.
Summary: A neighbor's dog wakes Thomas up. A tree decides to take matters into its own limbs.
Warning: a dog dies.
Soft yapping roused Thomas in the early hours of the day. He sighed and cursed his neighbor and her chihuahua. This morning marked the second full week that she let her dog out to run free. If the fiery little thing wasn't so loud or if Nancy was out with Champ, Thomas would have minded less. A quick check from his window confirmed that little Champ was alone— or as alone as he could be in Daisy's yard.
Daisy's rough collie Candace ignored Champ like a champion. Thomas admired her patience (and envied her owners ability to sleep through the noise). Champ kept up his incessant yipping in spite of the lack of attention. The little dog scrambled to to-and-fro barking at the collie as he tore up the yard.
Another sigh slipped out of Thomas as he pulled out his phone to record the scene. Something about it all bothered him. Oh, it was the tree in the yard. Its leaves shivered in spite of the windless morning. Thomas pursed his lips as he eyed another tree for the down the street. That one stood still.
“Damn it, Carl,” Thomas huffed as a cut the recording and snatched a ring from his nightstand. “Maza,” he beckoned softly into the emerald mounted on it. “Mind passing on a word to Ca—”
A rush of leaves fluttering through the air and panicked yipes snapped Thomas' attention to Daisy's co-resident. Carl had snatched Champ up and pulled him to the dense mass of—
Thomas threw his window open and raised a fist to the corner of his mouth. “Carl!” he hissed. “Don't you dare!” The tree stilled. The knot of branches that served as its lips and teeth tightened. “Put Nancy's dog down. Gently.” Carl rustled their leaves in some protest. “It's bad enough that Daisy is suspicious of you.”
“But we all hate Champ,” Maza pointed out, remaining incorporeal. The other three elementals contracted to Thomas agreed drowsily. Carl loosened their grip on Champ to emphasize the point with the dog's frightened barks. “Carl's doing us a favor.”
“Ugh, fine,” Thomas gave in with a roll of his eyes. “Just—” A crunch and splatter of blood interrupted him. Thomas squinted at Carl as they munched on Champ. The knot of branches expanded and contracted squeezing out a fine paste of Champ and reducing his bones into more manageable shards. Thomas watched as a thick glob dripped to the ground. “Just clean up so no one gets in trouble.”
