I have the headcanon that Aether can braid his hair but prefers to ask Thoma to braid it for him. Lumine and Aether used to braid each others hair and since she's been gone Aether is missing something he got very attached too. So he asks Thoma to do so which he obliges. It takes a few tries for him to get it down but Aether is barely even acknowledges that Thoma is bad at braiding cause he just wanted that feeling of someone else doing it for him. After the third try Thoma had gotten it down perfectly. Aether was surprised since the last one was not great and their was a huge spike in improvement. And while he thinks about this he sees Thoma's hair is in a braid, clear evidence Thoma practiced on himself. Aether always appreciated that if he asked Thoma to do something he'd do whatever it took to do it to his best ability.
