In the months leading up to my girlfriend Zoë Moss’ birthday last March I aimed to get her an animation art cel. I looked into The Simpsons, knowing it is one of her all-time favorite shows.
However the price of original animation art can be quite steep, so I thought... if you can’t get a real piece of production art, why not create one?
Particularly in the style of an infamous animation cel of Scratchy’s arm that was “drawn by nobody... is worth nothing.”
But in this case was lovingly reproduced through traditional means by our good friend Thom Foolery, an excellent artist in his own right.
I think Zoë’s face says it all.
