The bison calves were out frolicking in the fields for Mother’s Day at the Bear River State Park. 

Say what you will about Wyoming, but you have to admit that having a view like this 5 minutes from your house makes the 6 months of winter a little more tolerable.

Beehive Ice documents the rich history, it's local personalities and diverse ice climbing of Utah. You don't want to miss this presentation. We'll also have gear demos, the beer garden and bbq starting at 5pm at the Cody Auditorium! Nathan Smith Climber, photographer, guidebook author, Nathan has been climbing in Utah and beyond for more than 25 years. Author of Beehive Ice, the most comprehensive guide to Utah ice, Nathan has been obsessively recording the ice and mixed scene in Utah since his first guidebook in 2003, Wasatch Mixed. To date, Nathan has completed more than 200 first ascents in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Mongolia. Once the fall snows and cold temps start to hit the high-country, Nathan can be found searching out remote corners of Utah looking for new lines and working on a long-term goal to try to climb every ice flow in Utah.
