I love you, but I am not letting you drag me into another fandom. I’m still not over Leverage feels thank you very much.

Oh geez, okay, since this will probably be the only ask I get on it :) <3

1. What house will you be in? Slytherin. That’s not even a question, I would definitely be in Slytherin, though Ravenclaw is my second house.

2. If the sorting hat was on you and it said you'd be great in a house you didn't consider before, will you follow his advice or choose what house you want? Depends on the house. I honestly feel like I could find my place in any of them, but it depends on the type of person I want to be. And honestly, when I was 11, I would have been terrified of Gryffindor, all those loud and energetic people. I would have definitely felt at home in Ravenclaw, but I feel like Slytherin is the place I belong.

3. What kind of animal would you bring to school? As much as I would love an owl, nothing can beat having a warm, purring kitty to curl up with at night.

4. If you were in class, where would you normally sit? Back left corner, it’s where I always try to sit, that way I have a wall on two sides of me and my writing hand isn’t bumping into the wall like if I sat in the back right.

5. What do you think you'll be doing right now? 9 PM on a Tuesday night? Probably doing homework. Honestly, probably just starting homework, because I am a procrastinator at heart.

6. What's the core of your wand? Hmmmm, that’s a tough one. I’d probably go with dragon heartstring (though that better have been harvested from a dragon that died of natural causes *side eyes Wizarding World*)

7. Do you think you'll be part of the quidditch team? Part of me wants to say “Me plus sports? No way” but honestly since I wouldn’t have my horses there, Quidditch would probably be the closet I would get. And I’d probably play Seeker, because I cannot catch balls that are thrown to me or hit them with bats, but I can usually catch things that are fleeing, so yeah.

8. Will you be part of any organization??? Is there a Magical Animals club? Because I would totally be a part of that. 

9. Will you go home during holidays? I would feel obligated to, but I really, really wouldn’t want to.

10. Do you think you'll have friends from other houses? Definitely. Probably some Ravenclaw friends in the beginning, and once I got older I feel like I’d befriend some of the Gryffs too.

11. What will you pack for school? You mean besides the obvious clothes and such? Pens. I would bring them by the case, and probably make a nice little profit selling them to all the stressed out students are finals time, because who the hell is going to write a TWO FOOT essay with a quill and ink, it’s ridiculous.

12. How about when going home for holidays, what will you bring home? Books. So many books. And my broom. And any small animals I could smuggle out.

13. Would you consider studying in another wizarding school? Maybe for a year or so, but Hogwarts will always be my home.

14. Do you think you'll be a prefect or head girl/boy? Would I? Maybe. Would I want to be? Not really. I’d already have enough to do.

15. Are you going to be a pure-blood or half-blood or muggle-born? Half-blood. To quote Seamus: “Me dad’s a Muggle, me mam’s a witch. Bit of a nasty shock for him when he found out.”

16. Will you be related to any wizarding family? Probably not. I mean, I could see maybe distantly being related to the Weasleys, but my family’s pretty small.

17. Will you be a student who gets into trouble a lot? Not unless it’s for sneaking down to Hagrid’s to see the new baby Nifflers. Honestly, I’m a “bend the rules to your advantage” kinda girl, hence Slytherin.

18. Do you think you'll get a lot of detention? For what reason/s? Again, probably not, unless it’s for the above. And for stopping people from being bullied, forcefully if necessary.

19. On hogsmeade visits, what shops will you go to? Honeydukes. Seriously, I start salivating at the very thought. And the book store. And I’d definitely spend lots of time in the Three Broomsticks.

20. Will you be supportive of your house's quidditch team? You bet your buttocks I would be, even if I’m not on it. Now there’s a sport I could watch and enjoy.

21. Will you read Hogwarts:A History? Absolutely. It has to be fascinating.

22. Do you think you'll get a lot of letters from home? How frequent do you think you'll get them? My father would write at least once a week, just to check up on me. My mother would be more sporadic, but she’d also send packages of sweets and stuff like that.

23. Will you subscribe to the daily prophet or the quibbler or other wizarding world media? Probably not, but I would read them if I found them.

24. Which part of the castle will be your favorite? Definitely the grounds. I would spend every warm day by the lake and every cold winter’s day down at Hagrid’s hut helping him with whatever chores were needed. Of the castle itself, I’d say the library. I’d definitely find a little corner and claim it as my own.

25. When sleeping in your dormitory, will your four-poster bed's curtains be drawn or closed? Depends on if I like my roommates. If I like them, then they’ll be drawn. If not, closed. And definitely closed during the winter, it’s gotta be cold in that castle!

26. If the team your house played against wins, do you think you'll be bitter towards the other team after the game? In the end it’s just a game, so no. Besides, I’ve had lost of practice with losing teams (Looking at you, Colts!)

27. Do you think you'll be a fan of wizard music? I like just about every style of music, so I’m sure I’d find some that I liked.

28. Will you be curious enough to try and explore the whole castle, even if you know you can get in trouble for visiting some parts of it? Depends on my mood. If I was feeling a little rebellious, definitely.

29. How frequent will your visits to the library be? At least once a day, if not more.

30. If someone was to form an organization similar to dumbledore's army, will you join? Hell yes. I am no about letting the government fuck me over, and if I had a tangible way to fight back? Definitely.

31. If you were to get detention, what task would you prefer? Would you want to scrub cauldrons or clean trophies or sort through unlabeled books or…? Can I go into the forest with Hagrid? Sorting unlabeled books wouldn’t be bad either. I’d hate cleaning cauldrons.

32. On your o.w.l.s, what subject/s will you get an O in? Which ones do you think you’ll get a T on? Definitely get an O in Care of Magical Creatures, maybe one in Transfiguration and DADA. As for the T... Probably Potions. I am a terrible cook and I would probably melt the cauldron every damn class.

33. How about in your n.e.w.t.s? Again, I’d do well in Care of Magical Creatures, but that’s probably the only one I’d get an O in. I’d probably get a T in Herbology, cuz I am terrible with plants.

34. If you were a pure-blood, would you take interest in reading muggle literature? It’d probably be as fascinating to me as sci-fi is to me now.

35. At what time do you think you'll go to bed on weekdays? Probably eleven or twelve, I’m a night owl.

36. Would you prefer firewhiskey over butterbeer? I mean, socially I’d probably drink butterbeer, but damn do I love my whiskey, so...

37. What wizard snack would be your favorite? Or which one would you like to try? I mean, chocolate frogs sound awesome. Honestly, I’d like to try anything at least once.

38. Will you collect chocolate frog cards? I might start to, or keep the ones that are interesting, but I’m not really someone who collects things.

39. Will you keep track of which flavor of beans you already tried? Not physically, but I’d remember, especially enough to stay away from the one I hate.

40. What quidditch team (excluding hogwarts houses) will you support? I feel like I’d be a huge Holyhead Harpies fan, I mean, an all girls team? Hell yeah.

41. What classes will you take for n.e.w.t.s? Care of Magical Creatures, Transfiguration, Charms, DADA, maybe Ancient Runes, I’d probably try to stick with Potions if I got the grade for it.

42. What will your boggart be? Oh gods. I have no idea. Something that lives only in my head, a dark, twisted thing intent on devouring me. Or possibly the man who assaulted me. Or my horse lying dead on the ground. Or my father.

43. Will you stay in the hog’s head or the three broomsticks? Three Broomsticks, definitely, Hog’s Head sounds kinda shady.

44. If you are of age, will you try to enter the triwizard tournament if they ever host one again? Nah, I’d watch that, not enter it. I’m not that much of an adrenaline junky.

45. What do you think happens during graduation? I’m sure there are lots of ancient words that are spoken, speeches given about responsibility and secrecy, and they are given some kind of ring or pin or something to signify their graduation. Then everyone shoots sparks in the air and all hell breaks loose.

46. Will you see the thestrals carrying the carriages? Now I will, yes. This past summer I lost my Nana, so I’d be able to see them now.

47. If you were invited to join the slug club, will you accept the invitation? I’d probably go at first, but hate the people and so bow out.

48. Will you consider becoming a professor in hogwarts after school? I would love to spend my life teaching Care of Magical Creatures, so yes.

49. What would your patronus be? Probably either a horse or a big cat, like a panther or something. I feel like both of those could represent my personality and my happiness.

50. What memory will you think of when making a patronus? I would have numerous memories, all of them including Archer, my horse. Probably the day we went to a show and won and showed every last person who had ever doubted us that they could stick it where the sun don’t shine, because we had a lot of people say that we would never amount to anything and we proved them wrong, the bastards.

café mocha: what's your favorite smell?

This one is my favorite one on there! It’s also difficult to decide. Particularly, I love the smell of rain, either before it arrives or after. The same with snow. I love the smell of forests, of the decay and the new life. I love the smell of the ocean breeze on a hot day. I love the smell of horses on your clothes and in your hair after a long day at the barn, the lingering scent of hay and grain. I love the smell of fresh grass, the dirt beneath it. I love the smell after a thunderstorm passes through, the electricity that you can taste, the warm residue washed clean.

I love the smell of a warm drink, be it tea or coffee or hot chocolate. I love blankets fresh from the dryer, or sheets that have been in the cupboard for a while. I love the smell of my bird as he sleeps close to my face. The smell of the cold sheets as they warm as I sleep. I love the smell of a bath I’ve drawn with whatever I’ve chosen to soak in, even salt. 

I have so many smells that I love, but I’m often too blocked up to smell anything more subtle.
