Just spending some time walking down memory lane pictorially on this 7th anniversary of our littlest’s birth. He wasn’t born until 11:30 pm and by this time of the morning, I’d been laboring all night, thinking we were making good progress. It was massively disappointing to get to the hospital around 10 am to find I was only 1 cm dilated. Little did we know, our little guy was wrapped up in the cord. It was a long trial of labor after the first scheduled c-section and the end result was an emergency c-section with a short stay in the NICU for our little guy. I look at my face and my husband’s face seven years ago. We had no idea what was coming or that this birth was our last. While #metastaticbreastcancer has changed our lives irrevocably, the love between us and our precious boys has only grown stronger and more sturdy. We know more about what could happen or what might happen at some point in the future. For now, we will revel in these memories and celebrate the heck out of SEVEN YEARS!! #notdeadyet #present #thisisSEVEN #thisismbc #MBC #mbcgrief #thoughtsofametastaticmom #boymom (at Winter Park Memorial Hospital, Orlando Fl) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdQggdNANV0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
