Jus Soli is granted in Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Fiji, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Lesotho, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Jus Soli has been challenged in the US after the civil war, after the mass import of cheap labor from China for the deadly work of building the trans-continental railroad, and of Japanese-Americans after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
