When you thought you'd seen everything a place has to offer, it always has a surprise waiting for you. This guy is a Burton's legless lizard (Lialis burtonis). It's estimated habitat range covers most of the mainland of Australia, except for some southern others of Victoria and around the borderline of the states of Western Australia and South Australia.
