UGH, and see, this is why it's hard coming up said list of favorites. Although honestly, I'd put Lean's Brief Encounter on my list of FAVORITES before Lawrence. Which is not to say anything against Lawrence, because FABULOUS MOVIE IS FABULOUS. Just a question of which I personally prefer, that's all. Â Still though. Lists are hard. Fun, but hard.

well, until last year, i’d have answered wales. now that i live here, i’d go for one of the other countries on my bucket list and say: mongolia. which would be followed immediately by a year in romania. or the other way around? decisions, decisions!
43. What happened in the last dream you remember?
i *think* it kind of involved missing my plane from leipzig back to wales and having to rent a car instead and freaking out because i haven’t driven a car for 15 years. next thing i know, i get stuck on a roundabout somewhere in newtown (i have no idea why! i’ve never been to newtown!) — and then the car i rented got stolen because i had jumped out and into the next news agent’s to buy an OS map and that’s when i woke up.

the lovely harrietvane and i went to see holy warriors at the globe on sunday. it's basically "2000 years of european intervention in the middle east in a nutshell". so there's lots of plantagenet crusading and saladin kicking back some ass when all of a sudden the second half jumps forward in time by some 1000 years and there's a ned suddenly jumping out on stage.

I can read! I am the best reader in my class. My teacher asks me to read the Message of the Day every day because I can read. I think the word "message" sounds a lot like "sausage" so it kind of makes me hungry, but we can't eat until snacktime. Usually it's apple juice. I don't like apple juice. I'd rather read. My dad took me to see "Beauty and the Beast" and I liked that Belle liked to read like me, and I liked the scene where they sing about giving Belle the food because the food looked really good except for the gray stuff, and Gaston was mean but his song was funny.Â
Yesterday I read a book that had a big green butterfly on the cover. My dad is scared of butterflies. I showed the book to him and he said to take it into another room. The book said that factories are putting so much pollution into the air that the rain is acid and it's making statues melt. I'm scared of acid rain. I saw "Ferngully" and it made me really scared for the rainforests, so I think we should stop cutting down trees. It's wrong to cut down trees. They're pretty and alive and I'd rather have trees than big smoke monsters. We went to visit my uncle in Ohio and there was a big smokestack shaped like an hourglass and it made clouds. Mom said it was a nuclear tower. My science teacher said that there was a nuclear meltdown somewhere and all the power went out. If a nuclear meltdown happened I think it would be loud and I'm scared of loud noises.Â
