The “tutorial” section’s length varies by game. As far as I know, P5 definitely has the longest one.
unfortunate! with that gripe out of the way (and i have others but i gripe enough so eh), lets list some good things
- morgana is a significantly more palatable and interesting mascot character than teddy
- the games menus, scene transitions, and just the overall design are SO COOL i love how over the top everything is
- no teddy
- the main characters personality, despite being subdued to keep as much of a blank slate as possible, shines through in all the replies you can make and the way they carry themselves. he feels like a blank slate without being boring
- the confidants are all pretty interesting so far! i havent gotten much into it, but none of the characters feel dull
- the harder enemies feel properly challenging and require you know the mechanics
- FAST TRAVEL, THANK GOD
- your party doesnt just “get tired” when youre exploring a dungeon which makes leveling up a lot easier. you do have to be prepared and have plenty of items with you, but at least you dont feel like youre on a clock when youre just trying to get some EXP
- no teddy
- the soundtrack is really good
i recommend the game, but i also havent beaten it, so ill come back to that
