Charlie has a motorbike, one of those small, zippy ones. I was considering, that as she gets more known in the Twin Cities both for her courier work and other reasons, she'll need a better mode of transportation than on foot - sacrificing stealth for speed. She's not really a 'car' person in my mind, even if she can drive.
She was probably denied the bike at first, due to said stealth detraction, but then suggested a motor scooter instead, and was then granted the bike, for fear that she'd actually get the scooter.

Writing a scene for later where 'some wolfy history nerd' as Tweak puts it, comes to stay at the warren, and Charlie gripes at him about Kindred and their lack of ability to write proper research papers. She says that if she ever meets this so-called 'Beckett' or his sire, she's going to make them do every single citation in APA and then stick their bibliography page up their asses.
