Well. This is exciting 😂 Husband's replacing our kitchen sink today.
Fun fact: sinks are held in place with clips!
Unless!
The sink is enameled cast iron.
And since the sink is cast iron and heavy enough to stay in place without clips... They cut the hole in the counter juuuuuust a smidgen smaller than it needs to be for a new sink held in place with clips.
Countertop is some sort of stone. I think it might be soapstone? Or something vaguely adjacent? I don't remember actually. It was done before we bought the house.
A power tool will get the job done. It will also send dust EVERYWHERE in a kitchen that we did not plan on having DUST GO EVERYWHERE.
So Husband will try to do it with an appropriate chisel. And this marks the second trip to HomeDepot of the day. 😂
