‘ i don’t want to go home yet. ’ ( halloween perhabs
she glances down at her phone to check the time , then : ‘ we don’t have to yet , doc . we still have a couple of hours . ’ they’re just wandering , really , percy dressed in a flapper costume she’d thrown together so charles looks a little less out of place . ‘ we can go get ice cream or something if you want ? or just keep walking around . either is fine . ’ she’s going to have hell to pay if janice and her dad find out she snuck out , but charles had asked so nicely for company & she’s bad at saying no to her friends .
