like the rivalry is Real and it is Not as one sided as oliver pretends it is HOWEVER.... they share literally so many interests and they bond over being absolutely catty about everything (especially film/tv and they drag each other SUPER hard over scenes filmed in their respective provinces pretending to be american) and they also like to complain about how Absolutely Everybody Hates Them, Like, Sooo Much and they don’t get why and then its just like a session of “But you’re like, Really Pretty” and “You’re so goddamn smart, though” while passing a joint back and forth
