ok so we all know that v!mc (im just gonna call her that frok now on akdhdnv) originally dies because of the shogunate.

BUT

In Resolve, v!mc survives because kazuha brought the both of them near the resistance before he passes out from exhaustion. The Kaedehara sibs then go liyue afterwards right???

so what if... v!mc was supposed to die, but because kazuha took her away from death's door, she didn't. so now, what ever higher being (celestia probably) is making scenarios to make sure that v!mc dies because her existence is messing up the universe.

SO when kazuha realizes that he can't keep is older sister safe, he leaves her either on the crux, mondstadt, or somewhere where he knows that v!mc will be alright. but then she eventually gets sick and... haha....

Rengoku moment (cough) but anyway, back to Genshin, yes this will be a sad thing to come across for Kazuha.

You'd think he's kept MC safe all this time and yet- when he left to keep her safe, thinking it's dangerous if they're together..

The universe still gets its play of cards.

MC still dies.

And Kazuha will just crumble, because he's failed twice. Not only did nee-san die, she passed on without ever having him at her side.

Just imagine Kazuha strolling the wilderness when he feels it, he just knows that MC died. In the wind, or in the way his chest immediately hollowed- and he just-

-Falls to the ground, spilling tears, looking at nothing- feeling that emptiness inside because it's happened.
