But Neito? All it took was one copy of a quirk and overusing for him to feel the damage it did, even with Denki's brain having a slight healing factor for this. So everytime he sees Denki overuse his quirk, he knows how painful that it is, he knows that each overuse effects him long term even if the biggest issues aren't visible anymore

He confronts him and gets shut down, Denki deflects, says it doesn't hurt as much as Neito remembers, refuses to stop going into the more dazed state for others to laugh at

So Neito does what he does best, ragebait. Instead of showing his concern visibly anymore, he starts full on teasing him by saying things like "Oh wow, overusing your quirk like that? Even if you can form full sentences now, doesn't make you less useless." "People aren't laughing WITH you when you do that! They're laughing AT you!"

No one else sees that this is out of genuine concern. Neither does Denki. But he stops to make the teasing stop, and it does.
