Simon and Maggie short
Dowtown was a rare occasion on set, but an occuasion that was most welcome to everyone.
Everyone but Simon.
Simon was always working and never taking any breaks in between, he needed to be. He'd always tried to make sure every take every scene he was in was perfect, otherwise he would make the crew work hours on end to get the perfect shot much to the crew's dismay.
However the set and the crew were having issues with the sound stage so everyone including Simon had to wait until it got fixed.
Simon was sitting on one of the chairs located outside the sound stage both bored and frustrated with the crew wondering how long it was going to take to get one simple sound problem fixed.
He felt his left arm twitch violently, now wishing he had more stabilizer.
The thought however was pushed into the back of his mind when Maggie, his assistant walked over towards him.
"Sir."
"Yes Maggie" Simon said turning his head slightly behind him.
Maggie looked down shaking her head before wearily asking "Can we talk about what happened last night?" She paused for a moment, then added "When I came to check up on you and-"
Simon, looking now nervous and darting his eyes in each direction hoping no one was listening interrupted her and quickly answered "I-It's fine Maggie don't worry, I'm fine."
Last night had flashed into his mind as quick as a flash bang, the night when his teeth started falling out because of the amount of stabilizer he injected into himself in a attempt to keep himself stable for tomorrow.
He thought he locked the door beforehand, until Maggie open the door and let out a scream.
Maggie looked up at him again, still looking tired but annoyed with him "No, no I don't think everything's fine."
"Maggie I really don't wanna talk about this right now, especially when there's a bunch of people around." Simon whispered and discreetly pointed at everyone else on set.
Maggie had met his whisper with her own and said "You say that but…" She turns her head around making sure no one else was listening either before adding "I'm worried that you're abusing the stabilizer."
Simon really wanted to argue, but then he let out a huge cough and quickly took out a handkerchief to cough into it.
When he was done, he pulled it away from him as Maggie looked down at it pensive as the handkerchief had blood on it.
"Maggie…"
"You're abusing it and you know it."
"No I'm not."
"Simon-"
Simon gets up from the chair, turning towards her angrily and said "Maggie your job is to cater to my needs and you know what I need? You to drop this."
She just stared at him, appalled by what he said and decided to walk away.
Simon felt awful the second that came out of his mouth "Wait Maggie I didn't mean-"
It was no use, she was already gone.
