so let me get this straight. i have to pay extra to play games i already own - games I payed $60 dollars for - just to play them on the switch 2?
and they added the gamechat feature - which probably no one will use because everyone and their mother has discord - that you have to pay a monthly subscription for, on top of your monthly/yearly subscription to nintendo online. it comes with a camera and microphone, adding to the price of the console, but you have to *pay* to use these things for the gamechat that appears to run at 5 fps.
and they have a tech demo, which seems cool. until you remember you have to *pay* for it. remember when wii sports was included with every wii?
THEN they tell me the switch 2 games are going to cost more, like $80 dollars instead of $60. $60 dollars for a video game is already insane. I am not paying $80 dollars for a video game unless it's one of those special pre-order things that come with figurines and stickers and an art book and a physical copy of the game.
and this $80 dollar switch 2 game card MAY NOT even come with the game! SOME only come with a download link to DOWNLOAD the game so like WHAT'S EVEN THE POINT of getting a physical, collectable game if it's just going to be nothing more than a glorified nintendo eshop card like they have at Target?
and THEN they have the AUDACITY to LOOK ME IN THE EYE and tell me the console could be up to $500????? I know billion dollar companies are out of touch with the general population but DAMN.
