Capping things off with the new designs debuted in the Rebuild of Evangelion films! Roughly half of them match the original designs, but the new angels are incredible critters in their own right. Rebuild Ramiel is a true sight to behold.
Monument of the Third Angel
Monument of the Third Angel in Chernobyl, Ukraine
Sculpted by Artist Anatoly Haidamaka
This statue stands as a tribute to those who perished in the Chernobyl disaster.
The third angel renference is from the Book of Revelations, when the third angel sounds their trumpet, and a star called Wormwood explodes in light, and poisons the water supply.
Some say the Ukranian word Chernobyl translates to Wormwood in English. Others say that's a myth, and that Chernobyl actually means mugwort, a similar herb to wormwood.
Do you think Revelations predicted the Chernobyl disaster?
More Eva because I’m angel garbage

There are some really sloppy ugly pencil scrawlings coming up, but I think some of the gags still land, and this piece:
…that thar ol’ piece weren’t too bad. Sketches after the cut.
