Awesome thanks for the tips. Something else I had been trying to find was a basic chemistry glass set to be a bit more safe when handling chemicals and trying different experiments. Are there any specific pieces or maybe even an already assembled set you would recommend to start off with? Or maybe what specifically to look for when buying a set of my own?

You can buy glassware online.
I’ve never done it as a hobby, so I don’t know the best places to buy it. Sorry. What to look for is Pyrex glass (heat resistant), and that glassware looks clean and uncracked.
Some basic equipment I can recall. Not all might be needed. Chemistry people correct me if I’m wrong.
Erlenmeyer Flask (good for mixing and titrating into)
Volumetric Flask (Precise measurements often used to dilute samples)
Beaker (Beaker :P)
Test tube (Small samples)
Glass stirring stick (stirring)
Boiling chip (distributed even heating across solution, useful for volatile substances)
Graduated Cylinder (Fairly accurate for measuring solutions)
pasteur pipette (like an eyedropper for transferring solutions)
Glass funnel (a funnel)
Some more specific things:
Burette (Controlled transfer of sample through a turnable valve - used for titrations)
Magnetic Stir bar (if you have the right equipment it can auto-stir your sample)
Pipette (Accurate distribution of sample using a vacuum/suction)
Condensor (for condensing and separating different liquids)
There’s a bunch more but they’re very specialized.
For what you’re doing you probably only need some beakers and flasks. But look up the names for what they’re used for (beyond what I provided).
