Think High Protein Bars smell like cocoa. It's soft and chewy. There's a nice crispness when encountering the nuts. Although the nuts provide an added layer of texture to this chocolate treat, I'm a bit sad that I can see but not taste them. I do appreciate zero sugar, gluten free, and no artificial sweeteners. These are chocolate-y good. Texturally, my bar had the consistency of day old Fudge with crispies instead of nuts. It was firm but still soft and chocolate-y with that pleasant crispness. Visually, you can see the heat had started to pull the cocoa out of product from the light dusting of powder on the outside surface. I'd like to pick some up the next time we go shopping to see how much being in the heat during transit impacted the flavor (if any).
