i think the more satoshi trains his aura & periodically meditates in pokémon filled nature, the more varied auras he begins to connect to & resonate with. there are some of his diverse family of pokémon that he resonates with already, mostly just a gentle buzzing of recognition, but very few are on the same level as pikachu, let alone lucario. the more his wave guidance develops, though, the better he can reach out with his aura, & the better he can distinguish the pokémon that an aura signature belongs to, beginning slowly with just typing & then branching out into the hundreds of species.
