Crash tree! I did the Kalkaska North loop today with my step-dad. Weaving through trees and battling sand is one of the hardest and personally most satisfying ways to ride... I did have to sign the crash tree today, but I don't have any wounds prove it... I rode this same loop 18 years ago, when it was all virgin trail... it was one of the most physically demanding things I've ever done....
