I’m participating because every woman on my mom’s side of the family has bigger thighs and butts, and within the past year the realization sunk in that there’s no point in trying to fight genetics.

So I guess there is this trend called Thigh Reading. 

Social media can be a place to gawk at bodies that seem prettier than our own. But it can also be a comforting place to find bodies that look like ours, lines and all. That's the thinking behind #ThighReading photos. Though the trend happened completely by accident.
