Afaere Cravemaul, also known as Thick Axe, is the result of the union of an Elf father and a Dwarf mother. 

She has been living since 38 years, and her age surely doesn't prevent her from enjoying the life she has always wanted; a real free spirit, she gambles and drinks on her rest day, the only one of the week, the only one she doesn't spend on raising the Giant Moles or her 6 years-old twin kids.

As a single mother raising her children since their birth, Afaere is as sweet as she is mentally impenetrable; in other words, a hard shell on a soft skin. A "social butterfly" is what fits her the most, as she knows just how to be liked or how to simply be a pleasant company for the night;
