After the Olympics, the skating once more the skating champs gave their everything! In a packed Thialf, Heerenveen (NL) the WC sprint and all round took place.

What a perfect speed skating weekend it was with yesterday a clean sweep for the Dutch male and female at the EC Sprint and today amazing races and winners in the allround competition as well.

Rijpma-de Jong had to fight hard for her 4th time European Champion Allround

And after decades finally the Norwegian are back! And how... impressive races. So good to have them back on top level of the competitions!

Though besides these top skaters another winner should not remain unmentioned. The audience and atmostphere at Thialf. This always super enthusiastic packed Thialf is special, and every skater knows it. There's no competition for that anywhere in the world. There's nothing like a victory lap on a sleigh pulled by Friesian horses in Thialf!
