I feel like people are using it as a new way to alter the same broken system but with a ‘ethnic spin’ and it ain’t it. Colonialism is so deep and we are rushing to solutions without truly sitting with the atrocities it’s brought and letting that rage guide us. The whole system is broken, and the most “decolonizing” thing to do is to completely start over. I feel the same way about words like “anti racism” or any other fluffy word to seem like you can take a crash course and unlearn anti blackness.
