2015: The Year of Jordan

I studied abroad in Costa Rica where I: skinny dipped, swam in the ocean, walked amongst monkeys, spoke spanish daily, kissed a tucan, tasted raw coffee, watched two local films, volunteered at an orphanage, visited a women’s shelter, got lost in the rainforest, drank coconut water.

Back in America, I juggled 4 jobs, won my mom’s court case, hosted my first panel at my local anime con about representation, sprained my wrist, visited Atlanta, got my first tattoo, met one of my fav voice actors, met two amazing black documentarians: Lacey Schwartz and Stanley Nelson, finally ate kimchi, went to a Santigold concert on my birthday, collaborated with my university’s women’s resource center, founded a feminist film student organization at my school, made a short film about eurocentrism, founded #hermioneisblack, did A LOT of film makeup/SFX and graduated with a BFA in Film. 

Yesss. wild wasteland has some fun stuff, but fair warning you will eventually get attacked by a gang of grannies. JUST SAYIN’.

idk when this was sent BUT: pneumonia bacteria seems to be gone. been over a week since i stopped taking my antibiotics and it feel like if it was gonna relapse it would’ve by now.

still have some irritation symptoms, but they’re getting less and less noticeable by the day. so basically im a lot better just have a little clean-up healing to do.

Abbie Mills = Slytherin

She’s very much about herself in all aspects of her life. Her family life, her professional life and her romantic life. She’s the opposite of a people person despite dedicating her life to saving them. She’s self reliant and didn’t really do teamwork until Crane came along and usually Slytherins are only comfortable with their own kind.

Katrina Crane = ???

I was never really checking for Katrina like that, but what I did know of her, she has traits of multiple houses. She was hella manipulative and used Ichabod to the greatest lengths. But she was also a clever witch. Not as clever as Grace, but w/e. She was also very vengeful, so it’s kind of hard to pin her fake ass.

Jenny Mills = Hufflepuff

She’s more than a team player, she IS a team. Even when you don’t ask her for help, she will be there helping your dumbass out of a sticky situation. She was loyal to her sister even when Abbie didn’t care for her. 

Ichabod Crane = Slytherin

He is 100% about himself and what he wants to the point that he risks the life of his partner in order to do so. He is the definition of shady. I think of Slytherin as half of the “smart” house bc Ravenclaws are resourceful and street smart while Slytherin are strictly sponges of information to further their best interests and Ichabod is that kind of smart.

Frank Irving = Gryffindor

He is a martyr, he’s too fucking valiant for his own good. Plus he’s an amazing person to have on your team in the face of an apocalypse. He could’ve took his family and ran after learning the truth, but instead he became a soldier and fought. Also, he’s not the brightest bulb or whatever the cliche is.
