his prosthetic fingers brush beneath her chin , newly unmasked gaze drawn to the curve of her lower lip which has haunted him for too long , now . he's got no excuses left not to do it , save , of course , for the slight swell of apprehension in his chest as his dark eyes flicker down to hers . her eyes : the color of sea glass . his mouth is unusually dry by the time he's able to summon the words he's looking for ( or something close , that is ) ' .... i'm hoping , after all this time .... you've at least saved one kiss for me .         elspeth smiles softly as she watches leon experiment with his prosthetics; they're a tool hard-worked for by him and the team in skyhold, and she is glad that he seems so satisfied with the results of that endeavor. though her eyes remain wholly focused on his face the entire time, watching his reactions as he moves and flexes the digits. yes, he does seem happy with them.

        then he turns toward her, his own gaze settling on her face as he takes a step closer and reaches for her face. elspeth goes still, save for leaning in slightly until she feels his prosthetic fingers under her chin. her hand lifts to rest gently on his arm above where the prosthetic starts. still she watches his face, thoughtful and curious, and her smile quickly returns at his question.
