Buddy, holding the leash: Do you think the baby will like walks like this?

Annie: [chuckles] We both love being outdoors and stuff, so will our kid!

Buddy, watching the sidewalk ahead of them: I can almost hear a little kid laughing and running ahead of us... [Tears up]

Annie: You think we'll have all our shit together by the time this baby comes? Yeah, we all apologized and made up now, but I still feel like there's so much... I don't know. Heaviness?

Buddy: [takes her hand] We'll get there. I'm sure we will.

Annie, holding her stomach: I don't remember my family ever fighting over me when I was little. I do know that I met Aunt Didi and Uncle Tase a little later than Uncles Alek and Aldric though. And I think I kinda remember it... I don't want this kid to ever know about this.

Buddy: I agree. They'll never know.

Annie: I just want to cry though, even if we're better now. How do I feel better?

Buddy, stopping to let Stalker smell something: You're asking me, who's diagnosed depressive? [Chuckles bitterly and sadly]

Annie: I mean, you're way more forgiving than I am. To a point where I don't get it sometimes.

Buddy: I don't know... [Shrugs] I think at least with the fallout Tiny and I had, when we finally talked, I didn't want to lose anymore time.

Annie, tearing up: I don't want to either!

Stalker: [whines seeing Annie upset again]

Buddy, opening his other arm in a hug: Come here.

Annie: [walks over and hugs him tight]

Buddy: [kisses her head and rocks her]

Stalker: [jumps up to Annie]
