So L becomes clumsy in flirting if actual feelings are involved but how actually it would manifest? In terrible lines or they start blushing a lot or stuttering or smth else completely? And what if MC misunderstood their behavior and starts thinking that L is so disgusted by their commoner self what they even can't play this game of flirts so MC just decides to avoid them to not cause any inconveniences?
It would be a mixture of both actually. L would try to do the terrible pick up like and mess it up, which would then cause them to start stuttering and blushing. They would be absolutely mortified and would hate the fact that their face matched their hair.
As for is the MC took it the wrong way? It would be a lot like the snippet I made for L when they were trying to get through to a doubtful MC, but they would be a lot more frantic about it. They would try to show the MC that it wasn't their status that affected the way they interacted with the MC. It was entirely the MC themselves and that they have never met someone so mesmerizing before, and they have no idea what to do with themselves and their feelings.
