I've been killing ants all afternoon and I'm so fucking upset. I don't know what the hell happened, but suddenly today they're all over my bathroom and kitchen. Every time I turn around: two, three, four more of them. The rooms are clean, garbage empty, and there's no food left out that they could be aiming for--I'm mostly just finding them on the floor--but here's the fun part: middle-floor condo! So they could also be coming in from any of the adjacent units that I have zero control over!

(yes, I called the building management, although of course it's Saturday and I have to wait for off-hours support. Also called a pest control place that I know the managers have worked with before, because they came out one time when I was getting wasps in through the fireplace, but, again, Saturday; I had to leave a message. So here I am trying to clean the floors and smash tiny ant after tiny ant and my back hurts from all the bending over and I am so upset.)
