pattern via @theworldinstitches (link)
i ran outta room for the border but CLOSE ENOUGH happy summerween
Now this was on of my favourite pieces to do and my first 10 inch hoop, it was a Christmas gift for my mum as she has a small collection of chicken items from a small inside joke that got way out of hand. I started with the black floss as it was the most and as I started to add colour it just became more and more fun to do. This is again a design from the lovely woman at @theworldinstitches on etsy, Facebook and right here on tumblr.

Before anybody gets too excited, there will not be a lot of Harry Potter content on my Tumblr. This was a retirement gift for a friend I've been coworkers with for 22 years. I actually finished it last year, but I had to wait until I gave it to her before I posted.
One down two to go 😊

I am… so happy with how this came out.
This is a free pattern by @theworldinstitches. They used blue thread on white aida but this grey aidawas so pretty I wanted to use it in a gift. So I tried white on grey to give it an almost lacy look and I’m elated with the effect. I used seed beads in a couple spots mostly because I never get to use them and I think they ended up looking nice.
This is queued because it’s a gift and I didn’t want to spoil the surprise. Hopefully this posts late enough that I don’t ruin it! If I do… oops, sorry >.>
