Link, as per usual, was spending time in the Hyrule Castle library pouring over historical tomes. One of the more interesting allies that assisted him was Midna - a companion of a previous one of his incarnations.
'The Hero Chosen by The Gods', as many of these books called him, seemed to have done what he, and many previous Links had done before him - defeated Ganondorf and saved Hyrule in the process.
Link turned the next page, scanning the words with his left hand, as his triforce mark glowed, and in a blinding flash was face-to-face with the other Link.

She was still regaining her strength since her return, as well as she had yet to meet up with Link to retrieve her weapon, leaving her powerless and at quite the disadvantage. The Zora’s shaky legs stepped back, focusing solely on not falling to the ground. Golden eyes were narrowed at the two Yiga clansmen in front of her with animosity and refusal to show even an OUNCE of fear to them.
Blood trickled down her face as she only narrowly avoided the sickle to her face. Small injuries already riddled her body, her reflexes slower than they usually were. She was too weak for this encounter and needed to retreat and heal. But the two seemed rather KEEN to strike her down without even a chance. Before she knew any better, she realized there was suddenly only ONE in front of her. The sharp, SEARING pain across her was enough to give away her ONLY advantage. She cried out in pain as her body fell forward to the ground, the warm liquid pooling on her back.
Her entire body trembled as she fought DESPERATELY to at least get up to her knees, all the injuries SCREAMING for her to stay down. But to remain downed would only lead to her DEATH. Eyes scanned slowly up at the two coming towards her, small bit of tears forming in the corners of her eyes. How pitiful of her-- to return just to die once more.
Kazegami rushed forward. He enjoyed to race with the smaller wind spirits and fairies, just to see who was faster. Kaze let them win occasionally to keep up the good spirit, but today he wanted to race with all his might. Such speed caused gusts of wind that could forecast a gale striking the fields, but it died as fast as Kazegami passed the area.
But ho! One of the wind spirits notified that there was someone on the road. Him and the spirits had been feeling rather playful today and Kazegami kinda wanted to pull a prank on some poor victim. He slowed his pace to a throttle and hid his divine form to a regular white horse, making steady pace on the road.

The small, oddly cold girl let out a pained groan, sitting up from her awkward position on the ground. Wait. Ground? She was sure she had fallen asleep in a tree. She contemplated her situation for a moment before he realized something warm, breathing, and very much alive was serving as her unintended landing pad.
“Goodness gracious, I’m terribly sorry!” She hurried to stand up, looking over the other. “Are you quite alright? Did I hurt you?”

thewolfishhero replied to your post: “We’re going to have to change Twi’s name to...
“Why is that needed! You can continue calling me ‘Twi’ just fine Midna!”
“Twilittle sounds cuter though.”
@thewolfishhero
“All I said was ‘it’s hotter than blue blazes’, I dunno know why that warranted a ‘yeehaw’!”
“ It’s alright. I live out in the country, too. ”

“You eat what you have to eat!”
“You did not need to eat the bee larva!”
